Inspired by a Tom Petty film in May 2008, Sprouse embarked on a musical journey during the housing crisis, moving to a small apartment in Farmville, VA, and dedicating himself to learning guitar and harmonica from scratch. Over 14-16 hour days, he developed a passion for creating original melodies.
By the fall of 2009, Sprouse had recorded four tracks with friends, which aired locally but were never officially released. Fifteen years later, these cherished songs finally see the light of day.
